Groups

Brightlingsea u3a has several Groups covering a wide range of subjects and activities . These include two Luncheon Groups, two Walking Groups and a Reminiscences Group who have produced a series of booklets on the past in Brightlingsea.
Most of our groups have been continued since Covid but we are always looking for new groups to start as new interests emerge and develop. The committee is keen to support new groups so if any member has suggestions please discuss with a committee member. Ideas for new groups may also be put forward by the Committee, announced at the monthly meetings and via the regular newsletter but for groups to develop we will need a group leader to take on the running of a group.

Our current groups, together with the frequency of meetings, are listed below. For more information about a particular group, click on that group and more details will appear.

We ask that current members use contact details from our regular newsletter if they wish to contact group leaders. News of groups, dates and venues for meetings are also posted in the Newsletter.


It is important to note that to join a group you must be a Brightlingsea u3a member.
