The group leader organises visits to interesting gardens in the region on an occasional basis so dates and times will depend on each garden's arrangements. Transport is self organised with drivers taking it in turns if buses are not practical.
Visits this year included the following.

A happy group at Moverons farm on the edge of Brightlingsea. Lovely gardens on a local farm and supplemented by excellent tea and cake! We hope to go back again later this year to see how the garden has changed with the seasons

A small group of us visited Beth Chatto's gardens in Elmstead Market. It was earlier this year in snowdrop time and it was amazing to see how many varieties there are of this delicate species.

On a lovely summers day 12 members went to Moynes Farm near Great Bentley. This was part of the national open gardens scheme and is not usually open to visitors. We were fortunate and the owners were very welcoming showing us their gardens including a grand topiary. We have been invited back for next year. Veronica and Jim have worked very hard to create a wonderful garden as well as exceedingly good cakes!
