SPEAKER MEETINGS
Speaker afternoons take place on the first Friday of the month. A full programme of speakers has now been booked for this year and into 2025. Suggestions for future events and speakers will always be welcome. We will continue to use the YMCA hall and most of our meetings will start at 2 p.m. so please arrive in good time for a prompt start. We are aware that there is still a risk of Covid so please follow latest advice and stay at home if you have symptoms.
For interested potential members we try to have a broad range of speakers from many walks of life. Some of the topics we have had in the past two years include: Climate change and wildlife, wildlife photo safaris, history of the bicycle, a humorous look at gardening, the siege of Colchester and various charities including Great Ormond Street Hospital supporters, Porridge and Pens, Air Ambulance and Lepra.
This where you can see notices about some of the speakers we have had and any post speaker information.
